Project Details

Delivery Method: Design-Build
Owner: 712-714 East Fayette Group, LLC
Total Size: 36,305 SF (4 stories)

The 712 E. Fayette Street project, now known as Fayette Place, was recently completed. This brand-new 4-story building is made up of 39 one-bedroom apartments and a retail space, occupied by Cafe Kubal, on the first floor. Located only blocks away from Syracuse University and Upstate University Hospital, Fayette Place is expected to appeal to students of both of these institutions, as well as young professionals.

The building is equipped with features such as key fob entry that allows tenants to buzz in guests through their cell phones, emergency panic buttons on each floor and Wi-fi. The apartments range from 700 to 775 square feet. Rent, which ranges from $1,175 to $1,295, includes fiber optic Internet, digital cable, water, central heat and air conditioning, and bike storage on the first floor.

VIP performed architecture, engineering and construction duties on the project. This was the first brand-new apartment build for us and marks the beginning of several other opportunities.
