In 1975, David C. Nutting, a registered architect, became the first employee of a small Syracuse, NY construction company. His energy and direction helped reshape the company and the firm soon became VIP Structures. David’s vision was to serve our clients more effectively by combining the best elements of design and construction: integrated design-build.
VIP’s team of over one hundred architectural, engineering, construction and development professionals bring together multiple skills that provide the value engineering, ingenuity and the sharing of a common goal– the successful completion of our client’s project. We perform the majority of all work with our own crews. Concrete form work, foundation work, concrete slabs and finishes, steel erection, roofing, insulation, siding systems and interior finishes are all accomplished by VIP personnel. This multi-functional staffing allows us to schedule as we see fit, and avoids having another company’s workload determine the timeline of our client’s project.
